I would say its been a fairly uneventful few weeks. I'm suffering a little Twilight burn-out...I'm sure I'm shocking everyone by having a non-Twilight blog post. ;) So when all else fails and I don't have a blog-able topic, its time for some bullet points.

• Thanksgiving was unexciting, but that was pretty much on purpose. We got a couple different invites, but in the end, I decided I wanted to stay home, so Brian & I had a Thanksgiving dinner of three different kinds of frozen appetizers. Worked for us.
• We also had a little furnace issue n Thanksgiving. leaving us with no heat. Luckily, we got it all fixed up on Friday with just the replacement of a small part.
• I am strangely feeling less grinchy this year....not that I am anti-Christmas, but I just have not been into it for a few years. Yet suddenly, I feel the urge to put up a tree (and even go so far as to buy a new one!) and even bought lighted decorations for outside. Of course I can't help but wonder where my Christmas ornaments are. I am pretty sure that my mover can tell me where the Christmas boxes are.
• I am over halfway done with my Christmas shopping. I need to go to town hall and get a Christmas Angel or two. This was the first year that I started shopping so early, and it wasn't even a conscious decision...I just started picking things up as I saw them.
• Today, my mom would have turned 61. She died three months after turning 47. Sometimes her birthdays are just as hard or harder than her "anniversary". This year has been an easy one, at least in relative terms. But who is to say? I could turn around and tomorrow could be a sucky I-miss-Mom day.

Well, on that Debbie Downer note, happy December!! Here's to hoping that I get my Christmas cards made before next Christmas! =)
